Our patented “Turbo-mist” airblast technology is designed to maximize the airflow evenly out of the sprayer’s outlets while restricting the recycling of chemical. This pressure regulator is a diaphragm design including a tungsten carbide relief valve and a stainless steel seat for improved durability and accuracy. All sprayers are equipped with a liquid pressure gauge calibrated in PSI to provide greater accuracy and control of application rates. Centrifugal pumps units come with manual pressure regulation but can be equipped with electric pressure adjust. These features provide the operator with easy access to controls that provide superior accuracy when spraying chemicals.
Our tanks are built of polished stainless steel, type 304. Features include: mechanical agitation including stainless steel paddles and shaft; a manually operated lid with a water return line through a filling basket for ease of mixing materials; and volume gauge calibrated in both gallons and litres. Our tanks are fully guaranteed for a 10 year period.
We equip all our models with a Udor Zeta 170 diaphragm pump that is rated to perform at 42 US gallons per minute producing a maximum pressure of 284 PSI. These pumps are fitted with our exclusive “reduction pump drive system” that reduces their output to 35 US gallons per minute substantially extending their operating life. All moving parts are immersed in oil and the pump comes with stainless steel valves and seats. These performance features gives you consistent, reliable spraying coverage at all times. Alternatively, you can select a Myers IC295 two stage centrifugal pump with a rated capacity of 60 gallons per minute at 150 PSI.
With the Heavy Duty series you select one of the following hitch options that best suits your needs: Clevis hitch – The clevis system allows the operator to setup the correct hitch length to optimize the maximum turning angles. Turbosteer hitch (a patent pending technology) – Ideal for farms that wish to reduce row widths and headlands, the Turbosteer will track the path of the tractor while allowing for tighter turns*.
All of our models are equipped with our “Turbo-mist” 30” or 38” patented axial flow designed turbine with a heavy duty flange bearing. Incorporates a bearing mount line that is bored for ease of assembly and maintenance. The fan is made of cast aluminum and machined to maintain a blade clearance of 50 thousandths of an inch.

The key to good coverage for Hops is “Less is More”. For penetration of the canopy (during full canopy) this tower puts another set of spray outlets up high in the hop trellis. This enables the machine to direct air up and into difficult spots reaching the top wire which has proven to be challenging with the new “wider” planting style. We were able to provide this improved coverage with less horsepower than the traditional sprayers. With Less horse power we still achieved more coverage with the new hop tower. The 9 foot high tower is designed to get the chemical up on the wire and onto the 18 foot style plantings. This tower can utilize wither traditional round outlets or our low drift tower on the bottom outlets. This will give the hop grower amazing coverage from top to bottom.
This tower fits on all “Heavy Duty” series sprayers and is designed to get the chemical to reach the hops up on the wire for planting up to a maximum height of 18 feet. It utilizes an additional set of outlets to allow air to be directed up into into those very difficult spots while using a low drift tower to achieve full coverage of the entire vine.
This attachment is designed for the sprayers equipped with our 8″ frame rails available on both the 30 and 38″ sprayers. Tests have shown coverage can be achieved right from the tire of the sprayer outward. When this set up is chosen it gives coverage tight to the machine. The maximum reach, with equal coverage, is around 60 feet in minimal wind conditions.
This unit is capable of coverage up to 100 feet however while achieving this setup and nozzle configuration it means you will not get coverage to start right from the tire outward. When this unit is shipped and assembled on a sprayer the top section will be removed and must be reattached by the dealer for delivery. This is to avoid any unnecessary damage to the unit and the turbine during transport.
This citrus tower is available for the Heavy Duty series sprayers and attaches easily to a 30 Inch Turbine. The top outlets are adjustable by manual turnbuckles (Optional hydraulic cylinders or electric actuators available). In addition to these top outlets you have two additional side outlets each with front mounted booms that have 4 nozzles per opening. Each of those have individual shut offs as well. This tower can be unbolted from the frame just like the grape tower. Additionally it can be folded over the tank with the optional hydraulic fold kits.
The citrus tower can be adapted to fit both the 30 and 38″ turbines. If the citrus tower is sold with a Turbosteer hitch we recommend a tower stabilizer kit be added. Both models have rear attachable jacks for storage.
This attachment was designed with the grower who has debris in his weed spray area such as leaves. It attaches to any 30″ Turbo-mist turbine equipped sprayer. It allows the manager to multi task by blowing both sides of the drive row at the same time. Should the operator decide he has the option of adding an additional set of weed booms to both blow away debris and apply weed control chemicals using the sprayer’s tank and pumping system. This optional equipment allows the manager to maximize his sprayer investment. By removing the existing sprayer outlets the leaf blower attaches right to the turbine via the existing outlet clamp ring. The turbine blows across the ground clearing leaf and debris away from the base of the tree (or vine) to ensure that all weeds are sprayed.
Our stainless steel towers are designed to be adjustable for air direction and angle to ensure effective tree coverage. This allows you to achieve environmentally-friendly spraying practices by improving spray coverage and reducing drift, noise and fuel usage. This results in substantial chemical savings and reduced hand thinning costs providing you with an earlier payback on your equipment cost. Tower configurations are available for both standard trees and grapes. Models include: LDT30S68 With 68 inch opening – LDT30S85 With 85inch opening – LDT30S97 With 97 inch opening – LDT30S112 With 112 inch opening. Slimline offers both a grape tower and a under-vine grape blower: The “240B” grape tower is manufactured with stainless steel, type 304 and come equipped with a turnbuckle allowing you to control the direction of the sprayer outlets. This then allows you to spray either a single drive row or a multi row. Arms to adjust the spray outlets using a manual, electric or hydraulic system can be fitted for ease of use; The Under-vine blower – this unit is designed to spray upwards from the bottom of the vine. This unit can be combined with the option 240B to form a grape tower that sprays both from above and below to achieve complete coverage. This iteration is referred to as a “California Short Stack” and is built only for 30” turbine machines; and Information on each of these options is available in the Slimline Manufacturing Product Catalogue.
This tower is designed in a narrow and tall configuration to spray both cherries and apples where the trees are planted and pruned in such a way as to allow the trees to grow into the centre aisle where the sprayer must travel while in operation. The SST attaches directly to the turbine and turns up at 90 degrees and immediately narrows to 24 inches from 30/38 inches in width. The approximate 48/60 inch height will be a rounded 12 inch pipe with a flat rear portion upon which the booms are attached to protect the nozzles and hoses from tree branches growing in to the center row. It is adjustable for height and is available for all Turbo-mist sprayers with 30” and 38” turbines. This tower has a fixed outlet on both the left and right sides just behind the turbine and attached to that fixture is the 90 degree turn( scorpion tail) which opens on both sides once the turn is completed and the opening extends all the way to the top of the tower from that point.
The airspeed is even throughout the entire opening within 5 MPH and is even from top to bottom. The 14Foot version averages 105 MPH. Additional opening are available and maximize the air volume which allows the turbine to breath better and produce additional air. So much air in fact we have upgraded the 30″ Heavy duty series sprayers t have wide mouth outlets as standard to improve available air volumes.

Slimline highly recommends using all rate controllers inside the tractor cab as they are typically very sensitive to moisture. The system is designed so you can easily disconnect the monitor and take it inside each night, if considered essential.
